About The Boathouse At Breach Inlet

The Boathouse At Breach Inlet is a southern seafood restaurant on Isle of Palms. It is a well-known spot, mostly for the absolutely amazing sunset views that include the Ravenel bridge and the intracoastal waterway. They even have a rooftop area that makes for the perfect drink and dinner spot.

The Boathouse’s menu includes several great seafood starters, like pickled shrimp, fried calamari, PEI mussels and oyster rockefeller. It’s a great menu to have an appetizers-only dinner, actually! They have spicy shrimp & grits on the menu that includes andouille sausage, as well as seafood linguine with shrimp and fish.

If you looking to truly indulge, try the Boathouse’s chef trio dinner. It comes with a 4oz filet, a crab cake and a butter poached lobster tail. Talk about a memorable meal!

The Boathouse offers an excellent backdrop for a pre-dinner cocktail, and they have a bar menu available seasonally at 3pm. It includes many of their appetizers, as well as a great selection of seafood towers. The Boathouse also has a kids menu for 12 and under with fried shrimp, chicken fingers and pasta alfredo.

The Boathouse is the only restaurant on the southern part of the island. Most of the Isle of Palms restaurants are located in the middle of the island in the main downtown area.
