Brunch cocktails, shrimp & grits and a casual beach feel

Acme Lowcountry Kitchen is the perfect spot for an enjoyable brunch on Isle of Palms. It’s located just over the connector and offers a daily breakfast and brunch full of southern deliciousness.

Breakfast is served daily from 8am to 11am and then Acme switches to the brunch menu until 3pm. Both menus include a variety of omelets, eggs benedicts and grit bowls. They also have shrimp & grits.

If you get there for breakfast you can even order a breakfast version with a fried egg. If they are already serving brunch, try the Southern Hospitality with fried shrimp, pimento cheese grits and collards.

Breakfast all-day with excellent french toast and biscuits

Sea Biscuit Cafe is a cash only casual breakfast and lunch eatery on Isle of Palms. It’s a breakfast all day kind of place with excellent banana bread!

Their breakfast menu includes several types of omelets, including a blue crab omelet! They also have buttermilk pancakes, homemade granola and, of course, biscuits!

One thing that we especially love about Sea Biscuit is that the kiddy pancake is shaped like a bear and served with fruit to make a smiley face. They also have excellent french toast— you can choose from challah, brown sugar cinnamon bread or blueberry walnut bread.

Though you can order from their breakfast menu all day, they also have a dedicated brunch menu Monday through Friday starting at 11am. It’s more lunch-leaning, with a few salads on the menu and several types of sandwiches. The Reuben is a great option as well as the crab cake sandwich if you are in the mood for seafood.

One thing to note is that Sea Biscuit Cafe does not have brunch cocktails. Drinks include coffee, tea, soft drinks and a few juices.
